The QEP (Quality Enhancement Plan) is NOVA's strategy to enhance student learning. It is part of NOVA's 2012 reaffirmation of accreditation by the Commission on Colleges (COC) of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
I think the survey needs to incorporate some counseling on stress, depression and any psychological matters because of all the shootings in schools recently and the fact that the country is at war. Some students have family members in war zones, other students are ex-military and this could affect their abilities gravely. So how about free online or in-person counseling on these issues for those who need it.
I feel like this survey is beneficial and has a lot of things that nova should focus on in the near future. But they should also include things that help students in need. Not everyone has a great home to go to or is a perfect student and needs more help than others.
I believe this is a good survey and hits a lot of key points as to what students think and need.

ReplyDeleteI think this is a great start, but perhaps the survey should hit current points and issues affecting students in our area.
